Doctor Who’s 60th Anniversary Season Will Have David Tennant And Catherine Tate

After various numerous rumors and indistinct denials, Doctor Who has confirmed on Sunday that David Tennant is making a comeback to the series for its 60th anniversary season, and yes of course he is coming up with one of the most fan-favorite companions Catherine Tate.

Ncuti Gatwa As The Fourteenth Doctor

Information is still in short supply, but the two most famous and beloved series actors will make their precious appearance in scenes in support of Ncuti Gatwa as the Fourteenth Doctor. David Tennant and Cathrine Tate formerly made their appearance in Doctor Who in the process of showrunner Russell T. Davies, coming back to the series for its anniversary season in the year 2023.

Davies makes a statement by saying, “Maybe this is a missing story. Or a parallel world. Or a dream, or a trick or flashback. The only thing I can confirm is it’s going to be spectacular, as two of our greatest stars reunite for the battle of a lifetime.”

David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Davies each said au revoir to Doctor Who in the special entitled “The End of Time,” which presented the Tenth Doctor’s of David Tennant’s popular end words, “I don’t want to go…”

David Tennant has since duplicated his character as the Doctor for the series Doctor Who for its 50th anniversary remarkable “The Day of the Doctor” against the Eleventh Doctor of Matt Smith. He has even come up together with Catherine Tate as a partner Donna Noble in seasons of Doctor Who of Big Finish: The Tenth Doctor Adventures audio plots.

But this is the first time that David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Davies will come together again since they altogether proceeded with the wand.

Former rumors in regard to the return of David Tennant made suggestions that she might take over for one more season of the series, making celebrations of the series that is running for a long time now- its 60th anniversary.

Various numerous other reports have said that he would be one of many Doctor Who stars who will be coming back and taking part in what would be an anthology-like season of one-off specials looking back on the history of the show.

It looks likely that the sites taking place in the Dona and the Tenth Doctor will take place between, or might be even during, the episodes of the Fourth Season of Doctor Who, when they came together at first, by their timelines. How they come to (presumably) crossways with Gatwa’s Fourteenth Doctor remains a puzzle.

But the 60th anniversary season of the series Doctor Who would not come up until the year 2023. This year, fans and viewers will still have to say bye to the Thirteenth Doctor of Jodie Whittaker and present show showrunner Chris Chibnall in the next coming Doctor Who.

The show brings back a pair of two classic Doctor Who partners predating the time of David Tennant and Catherine Tate on the show. The episode will come up in the fall.
