Tony Khan Was Allegedly Furious With WWE following His Latest Tweet Criticizing The Company For Rescheduling The Next WWE Money In The Bank Event

According to Bryan Alvarez of the cutting-edge version of “Wrestling Observer Radio,” certain people in WWE were enraged, even though no names were mentioned as to who it was.

Khan was ecstatic to hear a comical story about WWE’s current choice of transportation locations for the Money in the Bank show.

“Yesterday: without a doubt, one of my favorite days, consisting of first-rate visits with fans + media, and journey to LA for the most fulfilling assembly of my existence with Warner Brothers Discovery leadership, dinner with my father + Dana White, wherein I used to interrupt Dana’s information to Dana about MITB shifting to MGM,” Khan tweeted. “AEW Rampage on TNT today!”

WWE used to hold the annual event at Allegiant Stadium, which Cody Rhodes promoted after joining the organization, but they’ve recently moved the show to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Surprisingly, that’s where AEW’s first-ever AEW Double or Nothing took place.

But it wasn’t the only aspect of WWE’s switch that Khan chose to lampoon; he also mentioned that WWE will now be competing against UFC’s International Fight Week.

Khan tweeted, “Genius flow looking to take on Dana and the UFC in Vegas at some time during International Fight Week.” “See you tonight on TNT at a one-of-a-kind Friday Night AEW Rampage.” 6:30 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT/4 p.m. MT/3:30 p.m. PT!”

The Report’s Conclusion:

The event will encounter competition when UFC 276 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena. Tony Khan announced on Twitter on Friday that he had informed UFC President Dana White of the news.

He also took a swipe at WWE for putting on the show in opposition to the UFC.

On the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez revealed that certain people in WWE were furious over Khan’s post.
