“After much deliberation, I chose to quit The Handmaid’s Tale at this time,” Alexis Bledel said in a statement. In closing, she thanked everyone who helped make the show a reality, saying, “I am grateful to Hulu, MGM, the cast, and crew for their support.” she said.
Since the first season of the critically acclaimed drama was released in 2017, Alexis has been playing Emily.
