Lawyer, politician, and officer in the United States Army Reserve Lee Michael Zeldin is a citizen of the United States. He has served as the republican representative for New York’s first congressional district in the House of Representatives since 2015. He is now running for governor as a Republican against Gov. Kathy Hochul (Kathleen Courtney Hochul), an American politician and lawyer serving as the 57th governor of New York since August 24, 2021. She is a Democrat, the state’s first female governor, and upstate New York’s first female governor since the 1930s.
The Republican candidate for governor, Lee Zeldin, stated earlier this week that the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was a triumph for the family, life, and the Constitution. Gov. Kathy Hochul issued a general election warning on Tuesday, stating that if her Republican opponent were to win the election in November, he may use the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction to limit New Yorkers’ access to abortion.

He even co-sponsored legislation that, with a few exceptions, would legally prosecute doctors who performed abortions after 20 weeks. These attributes enabled him to advance to important positions in anti-abortion organisations.
Ms. Hochul and her fellow Democrats are wealthy with millions of dollars to spend on advertising and are open about their campaign tactics. They are even prepared to support former President Donald J. Trump in a vote to invalidate the results of the 2020 elections in several key states, in addition to his views on abortion and gun control.
