Kayne West is an American rapper and actor-producer, entrepreneur, and fashion designer. West is well known as a hip-hop musician. The 45 years old singer will no longer be performing at the Rolling Loud music festival.

What Did Organisers Say About The Dropout Of Kanye West?

The organizers of the festival announced a statement with Variety Sunday afternoon and confirmed that the headlining set of the rapper would be replaced with the performance of Kid Cudi.

Kanye West, Dropped Out As Rolling Loud Miami Headliner

The exciting news of West from the event comes just days before Rolling Loud is set to kick off. The festival will begin on 22nd July Friday at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingle said that they were looking forward to Ye heading to Rolling loud Miami in 2022. They spent months working with him and his term on the performance.

According to them, it is very unfortunate that Ye has decided that he will not be performing. This is the 1st time that a headliner has ever pulled off their show and though they don’t take it lightly, they wish him the best.

The team looks forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and they cannot wait to see what he has in store.

The team of Rolling Loud further added that it did its utmost to keep Kanye West on the lineup until the last possible moment, but he was not having it.

What Is The Opinion Of Cherif?

Cherif claimed that The Rolling Loud team maintained a strong personal and professional relationship with the hip-hop musician that began in late 2021.

The Dropout Of Kanye West

They declared that they had received various assurances from West about the Miami 2022 performance. The rapper appeared enthusiastic about the festival. He requested the company to reveal the line-up days before announcing the schedule.

Earlier this year, Kanye West canceled his headlining appearance at Coachella, citing personal reasons for his dropout. The departure of West from Coachella also came on short notice, only eleven days before the California festival.

Just 3 days earlier, West was appealed in a California court for $7.1 million by a production and design company. The company said that it had not been paid for working on the canceled Coachella appearance, along with the ‘Donda 2’ release showing many other collaborations.

It was alleged by the firm and Phantom Labs that it was filed against the partner of West. West’s partner had promised to pay the company millions.

It was already owed from other Kayne West productions out of the $9 million that the rapper was set to receive for performing at Coachella before he bowed out. According to Phantom Labs, no further payments had come from Kayne West since his Coachella exit.

What Did Kayne West Say?

As per the information, West had earlier performed at Rolling Loud California 2021 as a special guest of Future. According to the hip-hop singer, he did not receive compensation for that performance.
